Our app replaces physical remotes quickly and easily, making it the most convenient way to control smart TVs using your phone. However, smart TVs require user permission for external connections, so the physical remote must be used to pair the TV with our app for the first time.
When connecting to your Smart TV for the first time, allow permission to control and cast media by:
- Samsung TVs: tapping the OK button on your remote for each pop-up window.
- LG TVs: typing in the code displayed on your TV screen.
To avoid this permission process every time, go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager > Access Notification > First Time Only.
To enhance your user experience, purchase a universal physical remote from a reputable retailer like Amazon if you haven't connected the app to your TV and do not have the physical remote. Please ensure compatibility with your TV's model before you buy.
