If your Smart TV is just turned on, it may take up to 2 minutes to connect wirelessly. Ensure your physical remote is working properly to allow the connection.
Case 1. Can't find your TV:
1. Ensure that your TV and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network with a stable connection.
2. Check if Local Network Permission is enabled for the app in your phone's settings.
3. If the issue persists, restart the TV and app.
4. If the issue persists, clear all external devices connected to the TV:
- Samsung TVs: Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager > Select all and delete.
- LG TVs: Go to All Settings > Network > LG Connect Apps > Disconnect All Connections > Yes.
Case 2. Found your TV but cannot connect:
1. Reset your TV to initial installation by:
- Samsung TVs: go to Settings > General > Reset
- LG TVs: go to Settings > All Settings > General > Reset to Initial Settings
2. Turn your TV off and on again, then connect the TV
3. When connecting to your TV for the first time, allow permission to control and cast media by tapping the OK button on your remote for each pop-up window.
*Tips: To avoid this permission process every time, go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager > Access Notification > First Time Only.
