This troubleshooting guide is for users who can turn off their TVs using the app but cannot turn them on again.

Reason 1: Permission expired, connection lost
When you connect the app to your TV, it will request permission to control and cast media. If your TV requires permission each time, it will expire when the TV is turned off.
To grant permission for all time: go to your TV's Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager > Access Notification > First Time Only (for Samsung TV)
Reason 2: HDMI-REC on TV is disabled
