Our app can replace your physical remotes in a matter of seconds. With a few simple taps and no setup required, it is the most convenient way to control your smart TVs using your phone.
However, your TV cannot be paired with our app without the use of the physical remote for the first time, as smart TVs require user permission for any external connections. As such, our smart remote app is unable to access your TV until it is granted permission via the physical remote.
When connecting to your TV for the first time, the app will try to get your TV Permission to control and cast media to your TV. So please make sure you Allow by:
- With Samsung TV: use the physical remote and tap the OK button every time the Pop-Up window is shown at the Top-Right Corner on your TV.
If you want to do this process just one time, please follow these steps: on your TV > open Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager > Access Notification > First Time Only.
- With LG TV: a Code will be shown on your TV, then type it in your phone when being asked.
We recommend purchasing a universal physical remote from a reputable retailer such as Amazon, ensuring compatibility with your TV's model. Once you have acquired the remote, we invite you to return to our app for an enhanced user experience.
